Kingsbridge Dementia Action Alliance

We are raising awareness of dementia in Kingsbridge and the surrounding areas by holding regular Dementia Friends Information Sessions. Inviting anyone in the local community to attend an Information Session and contacting local businesses, social groups, religious organisations, schools, emergency services and business groups to offer Information Sessions.

We have had stands at community events, and in the local supermarket to raise awareness of the group and what it is trying to achieve.

We are distributing a questionnaire to anyone with dementia, to family members, friends and carers and anyone who has been affected. The questionnaire aims to find out what people who are affected by dementia in our area would like to see improved, whether there are services or support that is missing that would help them to live well with dementia.
