Erewash Dementia Action Alliance

Working Towards a Dementia Friendly Erewash

The Erewash Dementia Action Alliance is made up of a group of organisations and individuals who have come together with the aim of making Erewash a better place to live for people with dementia and their carers.

Anyone with an interest and commitment to improving the quality of life for people with dementia and their carers can join the Erewash Dementia Action Alliance. This could be in a traditional healthcare setting, public health, local business or a voluntary organisation which play a part in the prevention, care and support of people who have Dementia. It is also open to people with Dementia, their carers, family and friends.

The Dementia Action Alliance seeks to grow and nurture a supportive and inspirational network. Members of the Alliance will get the chance to connect with a wide range of professionals, share and draw on expertise and help to support others. Members have to align to the National Dementia Declaration and complete an action plan. This is really simple to do and not meant to deter anyone from joining.
