With an ageing population, social isolation is becoming a UK wide issue.

Based on the latest Health & Well being data for Tamworth, the town has over 15,000 people aged 65 or over, of which over 3,500 are lone pensioners. Additionally, there are almost 7,000 income deprived pensioner households. Both the lone pensioner & income deprived groups are at high risk of social isolation.

Home Instead Senior Care & Community together cic are holding a series of events to address the issue.
