Age UK Gateshead

Age UK Gateshead has used membership of the Gateshead DAA to gain access to a national Age UK programme of support, “Dementia Friendly Services”.

The aim is to share learning from 2 specialist consultant companies on dementia friendly services and a cohort of other Age UKs across the country.

Separate site visits took place from the consultants Dementia Adventure and Dementia Innovations, and benefited from £5k of investment from Age UK to improving  services to ensure they are welcoming and accessible.
