Cheshire East Council has established a group of people living with dementia and their carers who are working with the authority to look into the provision of dementia services.  The ‘Dementia Together’ group is currently looking more specifically into transport as well as supporting the authority in achieving its objectives within the Dementia Joint Commissioning Work Plan.  The Group have been invited to a workshop to be held on 10th October where there will be an opportunity for them to meet the Dementia Steering Group (made up of professionals from a wide variety of organisations) and for the two groups to review their achievements and objectives
