Bournemouth’s Poet Laureate James Manlow, was the 100th Dementia Friend to be created early in 2014 and was so inspired by the session and how challenging simple tasks such as making a cup of tea can be for someone with dementia, wrote his poem ‘Tea Time’

This has resulted in raising awareness through social media, press etc and James has recently giving poetry recitals at local memory cafes.
