The Dementia 2020 Citizens’ Panel for England
Have you, or has somebody close to you, been diagnosed with
dementia in the last two years? If so, ORS would really like your help.
Opinion Research Services are inviting people with a dementia diagnosis, or their main carer (either family or friend) to join their Dementia Citizen’s Panel. Once on the panel you would receive questionnaires – either by post or online asking about your experiences.
Questionnaires would be sent once every two or three months and only take around 15 minutes to complete. They might also invite you to take part in a small discussion group or an interview about your experiences. Joining the panel doesn’t mean you have to complete the questionnaire or agree to an interview but it does give you a chance to share your experiences of living with dementia and maybe improve services for the future.
If you would like to join the panel and help with this important research, please sign up by going online to www.opinionresearch.co.uk/dementia2020panel
This project has been commissioned by the Department of Health for England and the panel recruitment is being carried out by Opinion Research Services (ORS), an independent organisation who is managing the panel on behalf of the Department of Health.
If you have any questions about the Dementia 2020 Citizens’ Panel, the recruitment process or if you need any further information, please contact Claire Thomas at ORS on 01792 535 337 or firstname.lastname@example.org, or Daniel Morris at ORS on 01792 535324 or email@example.com .
Thank you for your help. Your participation in the panel will have an important role to play in shaping dementia services in England.
