Age UK Lindsey

Age UK Lindsey is an independent charity which has been based in Horncastle for over fifteen years and its aim is to work with and for all older people across East and West Lindsey helping to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. We offer a wide range of support to older people and their families including domestic and gardening help through our Home Support Service, a free confidential Information and Advice Service, community events and delivery of projects.

1. The National Dementia Declaration lists seven outcomes that the DAA are seeking to achieve for people with dementia and their carers. How would you describe your organisation’s role in delivering better outcomes for people with dementia and their carers?

We have a Dementia Friends Champion within our organisation for our staff and volunteers to become Dementia friends.To ensure our shops and access centres are dementia friendly and to promote the West Lindsey DAA
