Aspatria Dementia Action Alliance is newly formed in early 2016 and extremely committed to supporting the town to become dementia friendly.
Aspatria DAA is focusing on raising awareness of dementia in the local community, we will reach out to the community via public awareness sessions and aim to promote understandings of the effects dementia can have on a person's life.
We welcome all local groups, organisations and businesses who wish to be a part of the alliance and invite them to submit an action plan setting out three actions they will take to help their organisation and Aspatria be more dementia friendly, to do so please see here.
We also welcome any individuals who would like to be a part of this social movement and would urge you to contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org.
The next meeting for the Aspatria Dementia Action Alliance will take place at West Street Surgery on Tuesday 19 September 2017 from 2:00 p.m. Everybody is welcome.
